I haven't painted much lately. I feel like I'm going in circles, and I really just want to escape to an island somewhere...to a place where no one knows my name and there are no expectations of me. Presently, an unrealistic goal, I decided to paint this feeling. Perhaps one day I'll find my own island of solitude. But for now, I will appreciate this situation for it's potential healing experience.
